Ahead of my retirement I settled in what was our family vacation home for 40 years. It was obvious, no other place exerts on me this power of attraction, no place calls so intensely to full presence.
And if I enjoy being there alone, there is also this irresistible desire to share it.
I have been practicing meditation for several years and was taught on the fundamentals of Buddhism during some retreats. It doesn’t make me a Buddhist in the religious sense, but I find inspiration there to lead my life.
